How to withdraw Paypal to BDO savings account.

I am about to make my 6th withdrawal from my Paypal account to my BDO peso savings account.

I get most of my jobs from The On Demand Global Workforce - oDesk. oDesk has multiple options for payment: Moneybookers, credit card, bank to bank, and Paypal.

I picked Paypal for two reasons: it appears to charge the least and remains to be the most popular mode of payment (which to me is the most reliable in that light). I get to withdraw my accounts from oDesk to Paypal and get charged $1 per withdrawal. I then transfer the funds from Paypal to my BDO account and get charged another $1 in the process.

Take note that paypal charges $1 for any withdrawals below Php7,000.00, which is FREE for any withdrawals over this. Paypal has withdrawal limits of USD500 for free accounts. I used 010530667 as the Bank Code for BDO Universal Bank. Although, you need to know too that BDO does not officially hold tie up with Paypal as shown here.

Before withdrawal, your account confirmation should show you this:True enough, funds from Paypal reach my BDO approximately 5 calendar days from transaction, as shown in this stamp:
Notice that there is Ph200.00 charged to my account. This is apparently charged by the local recipient, which is BDO, but BDO will not disclose this information.

But to answer your question, yes BDO is capable of receiving Paypal accounts and the great thing I like about BDO is its capability of online transactions.

Hi, ma'am. I'm Reynante M. Martinez from San Fernando, La Union, Philippines. I'm really wondering how your transactions with BDO had been successful, not that I doubt it, but I really would like to try the same thing as well since my PayPal money had been there unwithdrawable for so many months already. I couldn't verify my PayPal account since it wants me to have a credit/debit card to verify. And my money is there unwithdrawn.

If you may be so kind, ma'am, to please guide me how you did your transactions with PayPal, I would greatly appreciate it. Did you use a credit/debit card to verify your PayPal account as well, ma'am?

Thank you so much for your help, ma'am.

You can reach me via reyn@graphicmelody.com and rey_m21@yahoo.com.

Thanks so much.

Same question that I have with Reynante M. Martinez.. I'm having problem in verifying my account in PayPal. My savings account number in BDO doesn't accept it in PayPal and I don't know why. I'm actually using Debit Card to verify my PayPal but still it always rejected my BDO account number.. Could you please help me on how would PayPal will accept my account number in BDO so that I can verify it already?? Can you please email me at krisxander34@gmail.com
Thanks for the time..

Make sure that your BDO Debit Card is that of an SA Account. Payroll accounts might not work.

Also, when you plug in the account number, make sure that's the one that's on your passbook and not the one on your Debit Card as these 2 numbers are different.

All the best!

I have an SA account but when I try to link my debit card, it says that the card number is invalid. The first time paypal asks for a number, do i place my atm card number or my account number?

It has been a long time since i registered my BDO SA, but if I am not mistaken, the first number that Paypal would ask is the Debit Card number which is the number on the card itself. Otherwise, you can enter your SA. It takes days to be able to successfully link your SA/Debit Card, and even weeks. Be forewarned that BDO does not recognize this as a legitimate transaction. You might find some information useful here on Why BDO does not recognize Paypal as a legitimate transaction.

@KA
if you have a Peso account with your bank, when you withdraw you Paypal money, it will be received as Peso by your bank account. prevailing conversion rate is the rate of the day for that Bank.

As to dollar account in a Philippine bank, I have not tried, and I also don't know if a dollar account can get online.
